About Reishi
Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) is a reddish-brown mushroom approximately 10 to 25 centimeters in size. In the Netherlands, we know this fungus as the lacquer mushroom. They grow primarily on the stumps of old trees such as oaks and beeches. In China, Reishi has been used for over 2,000 years. Its reputation is very impressive; they call it Lingzhi there, which means mushroom of immortality. In traditional Chinese medicine, Lingzhi is used for various purposes.
