About Lion’s Mane
Lion’s Mane (Hericium Erinaceus) is a special mushroom with many nicknames. The fruiting body is white in color and closely resembles the bushy mane of a male lion. Because of this appearance, Lion’s Mane is often also called the wig mushroom in the Netherlands. In traditional Chinese medicine, Lion’s Mane is known as hou tou gu, which means monkey head.
